Worship at home
In compliance with the provincial lock-down, and concern for each others’ health, we have suspended in-person worship, and are streaming our services.
To participate in worship at home, our services are live-streamed; please click here to accessIf you would like a link to weekly messages please contact us here.
If you’re feeling anxious about the impact of the virus, you’re not alone. Just remember: God is faithful, his kingdom endures, and he invites us to cast our anxieties and fears on him.
We encourage you to worship in the sanctuary, or at home, both in your private devotional time and with your families. For believers, this is a call to prayer! In Thessalonians 5, Paul tells us to “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” There’s lots to pray for.
Women’s Retreat 2021 – EMERGE
So many things have changed or been cancelled in the 2020 year. We are therefore pleased to announce that the annual Women’s Retreat will be happening in January 2021. Currently we take comfort in things that are familiar and so we are happy to announce that Brigette Vanhuisstede will again be our speaker. Over the past few retreats, many of us have grown from her teaching and interactions.
This year Brigette will look at Romans 8: 18-30 and show us how to EMERGE Refocused, Scathed and Victorious from this pandemic.
“EMERGE” – 2020 was a tough year, hasn’t it? Over the course of this year, a global pandemic, masks, uncertainty, anxiety, virtual classrooms, virtual churches, and social distancing have completely reshaped our world. And maybe you wonder when we will return to normal. When will the Covid-19 virus be over? When will we be able to take off our masks in public places? When will we be able to meet in classrooms and churches and conferences in person again? When will “social distancing” become a phrase of the past? And how do we move forward in the midst of all this uncertainty? Let’s discuss how we can EMERGE as bold followers of Jesus. To EMERGE means to come out, to rise up, to begin or to materialize. Let’s stop mourning what used to be and, instead, celebrate what is. Let’s EMERGE Refocused, Scathed, and Victorious.
Worship will be lead by Stephanie Scholman.
